GET TRUE URBAN PERFORMANCE
Select the high-spec powertrain to drive your adventure forward. Available are 1.4-litre turbo and 1.6-litre petrol engines, and 1.7-litre turbo diesel engines. Each perfectly balances performance with fuel efficiency, enhanced by Stop/Start technology that's standard with manual transmission versions. 6-speed automatic transmission is available on selected models.
All-wheel drive on demand:
Choose an engine with all-wheel drive on demand to automatically switch from front-wheel drive to traction-boosting all-wheel drive. Ideal if the road ahead is unpredictable. HDC (Hill Descent Control) keeps you stable on steep inclines, too.
EXPLORE MORE FLEXIBLE SPACE
Just 4.25 metres long, Trax makes it easy to zoom around and park in crowded cities. Inside, you and up to four passengers ride in high-mounted seats giving great visibility.
A generous boot extends - with the back seats folded down - to 1370L of cargo space. You'll also find a handy 230V socket there too. In fact, multiple seating configurations including 60/40 rear seats allow you to carry items much bigger than you might imagine, making this one of the most flexible small SUVs in town.
DRIVE SAFER
Helping you avoid accidents, StabiliTrak® constantly optimises the car’s traction. Bluetooth® keeps your hands on the steering wheel while you make and take calls. Hill Start Assist holds Trax steady when starting on sharp inclines.
Standard rear parking sensors sound an alarm if you get too close to hazards behind you. The LT trim also has Hill Descent Control to ease you down steep, bumpy gradients without braking; plus Chevrolet MyLink’s rear-view camera, beaming live video to the cabin to help you park safer.
Safety if you have an accident:
Should you roll Trax over, its structure is engineered to withstand four times the car’s normal weight. Six airbags, three-point seatbelts in all five seating positions, and ISOFIX anchoring systems for children’s safety seats come as standard. Likewise collapsible driver pedals to protect your lower legs.
