Unlike many of the other releases from Chevrolet at SEMA 2013, this one will soon be available through your local dealer. If you’re not too keen on the Hot Wheels Edition, perhaps the Spring Special Edition will be more your style.
Whether you’re a fan of six or eight cylinders, the 2014 Camaro Spring Special Edition will be offered in higher trim levels, being the 2LT and 2SS. But how will you know a Camaro is a Spring Edition? Just take a quick look. The paint color will be a clean Summit White, with a “Blue Ray” stripe. To confuse onlookers, a ZL1 spoiler in body color will be added. On top of this, the Chevy Accessories ground effects package, grille and 21-inch wheels will be found as well. To help you see at night, HID headlights and LED taillights are standard.
For fans of the drop-top, there’s a blue fabric top. To match that, the interior leather has blue accents and stitching. Along with the blue stuff on the inside, the white interior trim also has a Blue Ray stripe. In case you ever look at the floormats, they feature a silver Camaro logo.
Although the performance goodies haven’t changed (not that they need to), the Spring Special Edition is a possible collector’s item. And that is enough reason to get it over a more common model, when in launches as the weather improves
