In the event of a collision, six standard air bags† help protect heads, and chests. The ultra-strength steel safety cage helps keep everyone in the vehicle safe.
The Chevrolet Camaro was named the most dependable Midsize Sporty Car in the recently released J.D. Power 2014 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study. In addition, the Tahoe and Silverado HD ranked second and the Avalanche third in their respective segments.
The study measured problems experienced during the past 12 months by original owners of three-year-old (or 2011 model-year) vehicles. Designing and building higher-quality vehicles typically translates into higher resale values and higher customer loyalty.
“Receiving coveted dependability rankings on our vehicles demonstrates our commitment to providing our customers with first-class quality and customer experiences,” said Paul Edwards, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet Marketing.
The Camaro also topped its segment in 2013 – the first year it was eligible. For 2014, the Camaro lineup underwent its most significant redesign since the introduction of the fifth-generation Camaro.
